Elections 2014
Having up to 3 votes on the same ballot paper gave some voters the opportunity for some 'creative' voting patterns, in fact at first it looked like there could be some very strange mixed seat results. The count process was complex and somewhat extended because of a mix-up in the Fleet Central count which resulted in an agonising few hours wait while the results were unscrambled.
The community campaign are delighted that 9 of our 11 candidates were elected; thank you to all who entrusted their vote to us. Each of our candidates standing in Crookham East, Crookham West & Ewshot and Fleet Central were elected. Our two candidates in Fleet West gave a good account of themselves and have given themselves a great springboard for 2015.
With the Hook action group gaining an Independent seat in the Hook ward the new 33 member council has the following make-up;
The Community campaign will be working over the coming days to negotiate for a consensus lead administration.

Hart District Council Election 2014
Text
Community Campaign (Hart) to fielded a total of 11 candidates across 4 wards in the May 2014 Hart District Election
Local and active :- The Community Campaign has a track record of active representation. In the 2012 elections we promised that we would use our influence to prevent a major expansion of Fleet from enveloping Crookham Village. Not only did we deliver on our promise to get Grove Farm taken out of the Local Development Plan (LDP), but we are assisting Hart District Council in preparing the arguments to defend against the continued threat of unrestrained development.Why local people support CCH :- Now with eight councillors in Hart District, CCH is a resident’s association group free from party politics, so we are able to exercise our best judgement on all issues. We pursue the needs of the community, not a political agenda.
For strong local representation, Vote for the Community Campaign (Hart) on Thursday 22nd May.
We are a resident’s association group, free from party politics, so we are able to exercise our best judgement, on ALL ISSUES. We pursue the needs of the community. not a political agenda.
