May 2012: A changed political landscape in Hart
The Community Campaign (Hart) candidates won in all three seats which we contested in the May 2012 Hart District Council Elections.
We are delighted to welcome Tony Clarke (Crondall) and to welcome back John Bennison (Fleet Courtmoor) to our Hart District Council team. James Radley retained his Church Crookham East seat. Thank you to all who entrusted us with their vote.
The make up of Hart District Council following the elections (in which there was in addition an Independent gain in Fleet West) is as depicted in the adjacent pie chart.
This had the immediate effect of changing the balance of power in Hart District Council, leaving the Conservatives with 16 seats, but with no overall control, due to the other parties having collectively more seats.
